Parq Casino and the Edgewater before it

Paragon Gaming developed Parq with Dundee Corporation and PBC Group, through the joint venture Parq Holdings Limited. February 2019: Paragon sold its stake in Parq Holdings to PBC Group. After that, the paper trail goes quiet. Parq Casino's own site names no current owner, and the guide found no dated ownership change after 2019 when it checked.

Parq Casino is at 39 Smithe Street, Vancouver, on a site next to BC Place. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and the poker room on Level 3 keeps the same 24/7 schedule. Hours are local Pacific time.

Slots, baccarat, blackjack and roulette share the gaming floor with electronic touch machines. Parq does not state how many poker tables its room holds.

Holiday hours are not given here, so check them on the venue's own site. Any open-now status follows the published hours, not holidays or temporary changes.

Everyone shows ID on entry, regardless of age, as at every BC gambling facility since June 2023. There is no specific dress code. In a straight line, the nearest bus stop is Northbound Smithe St @ Expo Blvd (routes 17, N15), 119 m away. Stadium-Chinatown Station, the nearest on SkyTrain, is 506 m by the same measure.

Parq has two hotels, JW Marriott and The Douglas, and pay-by-plate self-parking open 24 hours. Non-event days cost $5 an hour before 5 PM, with a $20 daily maximum from 5 AM to 5 PM. From 5 PM to midnight it is $20 flat Sunday to Thursday, $25 Friday and Saturday. Encore Rewards members with at least 15 points earned park free.
